That's right, Rams fans, you might have reason to rejoice because a new and perhaps return to a winning era is on the horizon with the news of Fisher agreeing on terms given by the Rams.

You know there was a time when you found all kinds of Rams fan sites all over the Internet, there was a time there were lots of visitors to our Planet Rams website and forum members. Sad how things change, really sad. Had to remove half if not more than half of the fan sites listed on Planet Rams because they simply didn't exist any more.

People have just given up it seems on the entire organization and in reality I guess you really can't blame them. You get tired of losing. I know I do. However, I'll still stick with the Rams because they're all I've ever known since I was a kid. Leaving them behind would be like leaving a family member behind I suppose.

So here I plug away, trying to support my team and generally alone doing so. Maybe some day the fans will return and we can have as much fun as we use to have.

Still here, waiting for at least a .500 season

Pretty sad when you'd be happy with just a .500 season.

It's beyond words this season and the performance of our Rams. Well maybe not beyond words, here's a list of synonyms for "pathetic" that might describe our team to the fullest.

Deplorable - Worthy of censure or reproach; very bad.

Distressing - Great pain, anxiety or sorrow.

Feeble - Lacking in force, strength or effectiveness; weak.

 Heartbreaking - Disappointing or pitiful.

Heartrending - Causing grief or anguish.

Meager - Deficient in quality, inadequate.

Melting - To pass, dwindle or fade.

 Miserable - Wretchedly poor; contemptible.

 Paltry - Utterly worthless.

Pitiable - Evoking or deserving contemptuous pity.

Rueful - Causing sorrow or pity; deplorable.

Useless - Of no use; without useful qualities.

Worthless - Of no use; of no importance; good for nothing.

Woeful - Wretched quality; sorry; poor.

Wretched - Despicable, poor, sorry, worthless.

Don't know about anyone else but this pretty much sums up the whole of our team and the destiny they seem to be taking. This year is making the dismal 90's suddenly not look so bad.

It really doesn't make sense with a new owner, new front office, new coaching and supposedly good high draft picks and free agents and nothing is working. It simply doesn't make sense.

Being a life long fan, this is really tough to digest.

Is it possible we're going to go 0-4? My gosh if that happens can't we pretty much put the season in the toilet bowl and flush it?

Spags HC career with the Rams is definitely on the line and he had better find some way in which he can patch up this quickly sinking ship of his.

The receivers need to start playing like they play in the NFL as well. I mean come on, they even drop perfectly thrown passes!

The offensive line is letting Bradford be knocked around like a rag doll and if they're not careful he's going to be the second coming of Marc Bulger the deer caught in headlights QB.

The way the Ravens always play on defense it's just downright depressing. With no Jackson and no Amendola, I see us very easily going 0-3 tomorrow. Sad to say but it doesn't look promising.

	Barring a miracle.

First off don't get me wrong before I even get started, I'm not complaining.

I'm happy to see the Rams working so quickly on trying to fill holes and beef up the offense and all, but where are they running to without a backup for Steven Jackson?

My, my, my....are they going to continue to ignore or overlook this dire need? We really, really, really need someone that can get the job done when Jackson is not only taking a breather but if, God forbid, he get hurt during the year.

Not getting why this hasn't happened yet. Oh well, guess we gotta wait and see.

Wow! What is there to say? It's like a morgue around the NFL, there is no news to read, and nothing to talk about. My gosh this lockout is just killing things!

If they don't get things taken care of real soon here this is going to be a really sloppy NFL season filled with penalties and injuries galore.

So here it is two weeks into June and not one bit of progress between the owners and the players in the NFL. Come on, this is ridiculous on both sides parts. Don't understand why the players don't get it, the owners aren't going to budge.

The players are going to lose all away around on this. The owners are not going to budge when it comes to what the players want and they are not going to budge on the lockout. So what good is all of this?

The owners on the other hand aren't gaining anything by allowing the stalled negotiations to keep the players from practicing and then playing. Sure they aren't having to pay the players but at the same time by not starting the season on time, they're losing millions of dollars. So where's the sense in it all? Why not allow the season to start and still keep the negotiations open?

Kurt Warner was right in saying that if the players truly want a 2011 season that they are basically going to have to cave. They are going to have to put aside principle and just give in for now.

Not only are the fans and those who work in all the stadiums getting hurt by all of this but the players are also going to be hurt immensely with no pay. It's also going to really hurt all the rookies and 2nd year players or those players that may have had only a year left on their contracts, what about those players?

The players are not representing the entire group of players if they don't take into consideration those players in particular. There could careers on the line here over the issue of greed!

Stop the madness now and just count your losses as a few months loss of training and not an entire season because it's obvious the greedy owners aren't going to budge end of story!

I don't know about anyone else but this lockout is really beginning to put a damper on things for the new NFL season. It's ridiculous that those who basically are the backbone of the NFL, in other words those that pay the owners that eventually pay the salaries of the players of this league gets no consideration whatsoever. And that would be the fans. I don't know where the owners think they get the bulk of their money or where the players actually think where their salaries originally trickle down from, but they are fooling themselves if they don't think it's the fans!

Isn't it the owners that get all whiny and cranky when ticket sales happen to fall? Isn't the owners that move teams to a different venue when they don't think they're making enough money? So here they sit bickering with the whining players over none other than the money that comes out of our hard earned paychecks for all the tickets and the millions upon millions of dollars spend on team memorabilia. Which of course they get a cut from. You'd think that they wouldn't want to rile up a large group like us!

Not only is this completely unfair to all of us that support these greedy souls but what about all the little guys that work at all of the stadiums from the office help down to the guys who have to pick up our trash we leave behind each and every game? What about them? What happens to their income if these blockheads continue this bull headed greed fest? They are so wound up in their own selfish little world they fail to see the millions of others that it affects. Talk about a trickle down effect!

You know what would really be something? When the season finally does start what the fans should do all across the nation on opening day for each team is simply don't show up for the game. I'm serious, stand up and show solidarity as fans and just for one game on opening day, don't be there. See how much of an impact that would make! It would boggle the mind to see just how much power the fans really have if something like that could happen! In one day the owners would lose millions and millions of dollars! It sure would make them think twice before pulling something like this again.

It's too bad this won't happen.....but it would definitely be something the owners, players and the NFL would not forget for a very long time!

It's a shame that we more than likely won't see what talent Gilyard was suppose to have, but it also is a shame that what looked like such a vanilla offense last year was too hard for him to learn. If he struggled to learn that offense how would he ever learn McDaniels playbook?

I wondered all year long what the issue was and not learning the playbook, I mean was it really that hard to do? What did he do in college? Just strange when you think about it.

So, now that more receivers were drafted and Clayton and Avery are returning there pretty much isn't going to be any room for the guy so guess he wants out of St. Louis, ya think? Thing is, if he couldn't learn that playbook of Shurmurs what's he going to do with a different one?
