Fans Need to Rejoice

That's right, Rams fans, you might have reason to rejoice because a new and perhaps return to a winning era is on the horizon with the news of Fisher agreeing on terms given by the Rams.

Comments from different reporters around the NFL:

 Michael Silver

Fisher was willing to meet halfway on personnel control, but Ross wouldn't budge. He's an Ireland man. And now Fisher is headed for The Lou

This was Miami's game to lose, and Ross decided he wanted his current GM to retain his current level of power. So the Rams got their man.

If you are a Dolphins fan, and you want to know WHY: You have an owner who very much wants Jeff Ireland to retain control over the roster

Albert Breer

Fair to say that some in Dolphins organization feel as if they were leverage in this whole deal. Feelings still pretty raw though.

 Pete Prisco

Thought all along fisher would pick Bradford I mean rams

 Jay Glazer

Jeff Fisher goes to Rams after all. Just 5 days later than we thought

 Michael Lombardi

Rams it is. Good luck to Jeff. Congrats Ram fans.

2 things I was told from start: Fisher didn't need control, but wasn't going to have front-office structure forced on him. & he wanted a QB.

 Adam Caplan

Interested to see who Fisher picks as his OC. Huge issue for development of Bradford. 3rd OC coming for his first 3 seasons.

Now we just have to hope they get the right GM and OC in there for Bradfords sake and the sake of the offense! I say hey Fisher first pick....Blackmon, Blackmon, Blackmon!

Oh and did I mention, Blackmon?

No Wonder Fans Don't Come

You know there was a time when you found all kinds of Rams fan sites all over the Internet, there was a time there were lots of visitors to our Planet Rams website and forum members. Sad how things change, really sad. Had to remove half if not more than half of the fan sites listed on Planet Rams because they simply didn't exist any more.

People have just given up it seems on the entire organization and in reality I guess you really can't blame them. You get tired of losing. I know I do. However, I'll still stick with the Rams because they're all I've ever known since I was a kid. Leaving them behind would be like leaving a family member behind I suppose.

So here I plug away, trying to support my team and generally alone doing so. Maybe some day the fans will return and we can have as much fun as we use to have.

Still here, waiting for at least a .500 season

Pretty sad when you'd be happy with just a .500 season.

Wow, Simply Wow

Wow is all I can say about such an incredible game! By the way, did the Rams get replaced by the invasion of the body snatchers or what?

Let's hope that they can carry this victory with them to Arizona and pluck the red birds in the desert.

Beyond Pathetic

It's beyond words this season and the performance of our Rams. Well maybe not beyond words, here's a list of synonyms for "pathetic" that might describe our team to the fullest.

  1. Deplorable - Worthy of censure or reproach; very bad.
  2. Distressing - Great pain, anxiety or sorrow.
  3. Feeble - Lacking in force, strength or effectiveness; weak.
  4. Heartbreaking - Disappointing or pitiful.
  5. Heartrending - Causing grief or anguish.
  6. Meager - Deficient in quality, inadequate.
  7. Melting - To pass, dwindle or fade.
  8. Miserable - Wretchedly poor; contemptible.
  9. Paltry - Utterly worthless.
  10. Pitiable - Evoking or deserving contemptuous pity.
  11. Rueful - Causing sorrow or pity; deplorable.
  12. Useless - Of no use; without useful qualities.
  13. Worthless - Of no use; of no importance; good for nothing.
  14. Woeful - Wretched quality; sorry; poor.
  15. Wretched - Despicable, poor, sorry, worthless.

Don't know about anyone else but this pretty much sums up the whole of our team and the destiny they seem to be taking. This year is making the dismal 90's suddenly not look so bad.

It really doesn't make sense with a new owner, new front office, new coaching and supposedly good high draft picks and free agents and nothing is working. It simply doesn't make sense.

Being a life long fan, this is really tough to digest.

We Can't Really Go 0-4?

Is it possible we're going to go 0-4? My gosh if that happens can't we pretty much put the season in the toilet bowl and flush it?

Spags HC career with the Rams is definitely on the line and he had better find some way in which he can patch up this quickly sinking ship of his.

The receivers need to start playing like they play in the NFL as well. I mean come on, they even drop perfectly thrown passes!

The offensive line is letting Bradford be knocked around like a rag doll and if they're not careful he's going to be the second coming of Marc Bulger the deer caught in headlights QB.

Man We Could Be Heading for 0-3

The way the Ravens always play on defense it's just downright depressing. With no Jackson and no Amendola, I see us very easily going 0-3 tomorrow. Sad to say but it doesn't look promising.

Barring a miracle.

Do you believe in miracles? I do, but not when it comes to football.

Back From New Orleans

Wow! All I can say is WOW! What an experience, if it were not for the humidity I'd leave Portland, OR behind in a heartbeat and move to New Orleans!

Will post more about it later, have so much to catch up on. May even post some pics later as well as soon as we get through going through the hundreds that we took.

Off to New Orleans!

Hubby and I are off to a well deserved and long awaited vacation to New Orleans!  So there will be no posting going on here for the next 8 to 10 days!

New Orleans here we come!

The Time is Here

Well, it's finally upon us! The game of football and the Rams will be playing their first pre-season game Aug. 13th!

Are you ready for some football?!!!!!

I sure as heck know I am! The off season was so dead that it left me starving for it!

Any thoughts on how you think the team is going to do this year?

GO RAMS!

Where Are We Running To? Tags: running back Steven Jackson backup football NFL sports

First off don't get me wrong before I even get started, I'm not complaining.

I'm happy to see the Rams working so quickly on trying to fill holes and beef up the offense and all, but where are they running to without a backup for Steven Jackson?

My, my, my....are they going to continue to ignore or overlook this dire need? We really, really, really need someone that can get the job done when Jackson is not only taking a breather but if, God forbid, he get hurt during the year.

Not getting why this hasn't happened yet. Oh well, guess we gotta wait and see.

What to Say?

Wow! What is there to say? It's like a morgue around the NFL, there is no news to read, and nothing to talk about. My gosh this lockout is just killing things!

If they don't get things taken care of real soon here this is going to be a really sloppy NFL season filled with penalties and injuries galore.

Man how much more boredom can the fans stand?
